My favourite item in the new Salomon collection is the Bonatti Trail Jacket. I wear this when I'm trail running or just running on the roads in wet weather. It's a fully waterproof (20/20k) and windproof jacket. We've tested this jacket out a lot recently as it seems to be always raining - it works! The kids keep borrowing it for football training so I have to hide it! This jacket is lightweight and breathable and it's tear resistant when you brush off those branches and brambles. The fabric is stretchy so there's no restriction when I'm running. I always bring a hydration vest when I’m running for 15km or more. I can fit so much into this – water, gels, packable jacket, phone etc. I can wear my hydration vest under the Bonatti trail jacket as it has extra space at the back and a small hole in the front pocket for the drinking straw - very handy. The hood stays in place on windy days. 10 out of 10 from me.
